Autocrat Donates to Washington Trust's PB Xpress Lincoln, RI - As a fourth-generation family owned company, Autocrat, Inc., is pleased to announce its participation in Washington Trust's PB Xpress peanut butter drive to benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Autocrat employees collected 86 pounds of peanut butter during the month of March in support of Washington Trust's goal of 13 tons of peanut butter for 2008. Autocrat is proud to participate in an event that directly assists over 40,000 Rhode Islanders who benefit from the Food Bank each day. The Washington Trust Company, the largest independent bank in Rhode Island, started the PB Xpress peanut butter drive in 2001 and since has collected over 44 tons of peanut butter for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Autocrat is committed to serving the Rhode Island community by supporting the Food Bank, as well as many charities. Employees participate every Friday in a "Charity Dress Down Day" where monetary donations are given to various organizations, such as Meals on Wheels, and the American Cancer Society, as well as many others.
